My dell 1815 has an internal error PJL_Main.C 1537 PLJT how do I fix this

check the connectors from the main board to the screen if they are plugged well

Inside the DVD drive is a laser optical eye. This eye get's dirty.

Suggest remove ALL power, then open DVD drive tray. Use a can of compressed air for computers to clean, and aim down towards the bottom of the tray.
(Remove AC adapter {Charger}, and Battery)

Disk cleaners have the tendency to wipe the 'gunk' off, then wipe it back on.

Also make sure you still have burner software. Nothing like going to use the DVD burner one day, only to find the Nero burner software was just a trial.

You have the touch sensitive Button Stuck
Heres a Youtube Video of how to fix it.

The error means - Abnormally high fixing unit thermistor temperature.

Can be caused by Shorted thermistor or Broken heater control circuit on the power supply board.

Could be either the inverter board or the LCD screen cable.

LCD inverter board. They're pretty simple to replace and cost only bout $10-$15 on Ebay. If you do it yourself just be careful taking off the plastic bezel from the screen.

Turn off computer
Locate a small hole in DVD drive lid.
Carefully insert a straightened paper clip.
Gently push & the lid should pop out.
Then you can open the drive & remove the CD
Restart the computer and see if drive is damaged or not

First of all go to support.dell.com and click drivers and download. make sure you update al your driver especially video,
chipset and system software.
I've gotten this before and it might be memory issue with video when you start your system start tapping F12 and select the boot to Utility Partition or Diagnostics.select system test and and choose the extended test. google the error codes if any . I usually get this due to a video driver.
