My minolta 2200 is leaving a white line across the upper edge of every printed page. It has had the transfer belt replaced, has new oil roller, and new cartridges, Opc drum is also changed regularly. This problem was evident before the transfer belt change.

Hi Alms,
Is there any chance you can post a scan of one of your faulty pages. This would help to assess the fault.
If you print several pages, does the image move further and further down the page with each copy?
Is the white band repeated down the page? If so measure the distance between each band - this will help identify the faulty component.

I had a similar problem with my 2430DL only with one fairly prominent white line instead of two. I read troubleshooting tips in manual for this problem and first suggestion was to wipe laser lens clean with a soft cloth. I did this and no more white line! If you do not have your manual please email me and I can forward you PDF manual. [email protected]
My magicolor 2430 dl prints fine until i print a photo then it leaves vertical streaks down the page, how do I correct this and if its dirty how do i clean it.

Most of the time when I find this happening on a printer, not just Ricoh's it turns out to be the PCU (photo conductor unit). The color PCU is one unit and the black is a seperate unit. Hope this helps.
