What do I need to do to winterize the outside unit
SOURCE: Replacement compressor for Mitsubishi Mr. Slim Air Conditioner
pls no overhauling repair no spare part avaliable for hermetic comp[ressor the right is to change it
SOURCE: outside unit fan not turning no cold air inside.
Ok here we go. It is possible that the capacitor for that fan unit is out or the motor for that unit is out. Without the proper tools i.e. an electrical meter, there isn't really a way to test the unit. The remote should not have anything to do with the unit activating if the is a manual thermostat. I suggest checking to see if either the motor has gone bad or the capacitor has bit the dust. If you have the motor changed make sure to replace the capacitor
Good Luck on your repairs hope I helped you some\

Hi,
Have your system checked by a professional.
From what you are describing here it seems as thoug you have a slight leak in the system somewhere and therefore the system is not cooling or heating properly.
Have them check the system... verify the low charge, fine the leak and repair it.
Vacuum and recharge the system...
Then check the operation before you let them out of your sight.
...It can be tough to get some contrators back if you let them go before you check it...espec. if you pay them...:-)
