Question about Indesit W 123 Front Load Washer
(Not sure machine is W 123 but is an Indesit front-loader only a few years old) During its cycle and spin, there's a sporadic banging coming from within the tub. It sounds like something loose between the inner metal and outer plastic casing. It's a metallic irregular banging and it may be the bearings. When the machine is off I can manually spin the tub; the banging still occurs even then. Anyone know how to even get to it, and hopefully replace it? Thanks in advance.
These washers are a swine to dis-assemble and i would not recommend it unless you are experienced. on most indesit, the bearings are in a spider bolted to the outside of the tub. take the back off and see if you can localise the noise to the bearings worthwhile also taking the heater out (one nut in the middle), peer in and check no foreign object causing the noise

I had a similar problem to find that the spider supporting the drum was cracked in two places
