Irregular banging during cycle

(Not sure machine is W 123 but is an Indesit front-loader only a few years old) During its cycle and spin, there's a sporadic banging coming from within the tub. It sounds like something loose between the inner metal and outer plastic casing. It's a metallic irregular banging and it may be the bearings. When the machine is off I can manually spin the tub; the banging still occurs even then. Anyone know how to even get to it, and hopefully replace it? Thanks in advance.

Thanks tresilla, I may not attempt fixing it if I'm likely to make it worse (or not the right tools), but I did remove to back: Whilst twisting the tub from the back (and from inside)it seems to spin smoothly, but then punctuated with lighter/heavier metallic knocking. It's not a whirring sound nor rattling, but like a resonant thud. The bolt, I've seen is, from the back, in the center of the tub. Should I unscrew this? Where is the heater? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm inexperienced and not at home and can't view it right now to check. Again, thanks for your time and attention.

These washers are a swine to dis-assemble and i would not recommend it unless you are experienced. on most indesit, the bearings are in a spider bolted to the outside of the tub. take the back off and see if you can localise the noise to the bearings worthwhile also taking the heater out (one nut in the middle), peer in and check no foreign object causing the noise

Severe drum? shaking and display lights flicker during spin cycle

Loose mounting points or broken pins. If not that then possibly drum shaft could be cracked.

Three day old Indesit washing machine

Is it a maytag? My maytag front load washing machine had 2 long bolts with plastic braces on them, to keep the drum still during shipping. Mine would bang and shake all over. I got the book out before I finally figured it out. I had to take the back cover off and remove the bolts and plastic braces over them. They look like they' 8 inches long or so. It works great now.
