This notebook feel to have a defective graphic card: image on internal lcd screen appears shadowed, but on external screen is good. I think is a fault of a grapic card, or not? I don't know wich card is mounted (i see only a chip: is "ATI mobility radeon" and some labels "K6210090" and "VIF-17 KS-112" SONY). Someone can give me info to find a fault and where to find (if there is a case) a replacement card?
There is no replacement for this as the graphics controller is onboard, as in built into the motherboard and not a seperate dedicated graphics card. You can try updating the driver but i would firstly go to my computer>right click>properties>hardware tab>device manager>click '+' sign on display adapters, select the adapter and right click and select uninstall. Restart pc and the graphics driver will be reinstalled. If no change, then it could be that the lcd or the back lighting is faulty and requires a qualified repairer.
