***CHARGING MY RAZR***

The other night I put my phone on to the charger before I went to bed. After a couple of quality hours of sleep, I started having one of my best dreams ever... Until I was rudely awoken by the 'Low Battery' alert. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't chargers meant to charge your phone? For some reason, when I put my phone on to charge, half the time it won't actually charge. Note: the battery is not full, as on most occasions, I have been carrying it around with me all day or have just made a call with it. The phone is only a week and a half old, and was less than that when my little story occurred. This problem is really starting to irritate me and I feel there could be some serious damage done to the phone if it doesn't start working the way I want it to... Can anyone save this phone from painful and violent death?

Similar problem to previous dude, but I dropped my phone on the sidewalk once and it hit the wall about three times (not too hard) when I was throwing it up into my loft bed.

Since the drop on the sidewalk, battery does not hold charge long. It used to remain charged for three days, and now I can *barely* make it to the end of the day without it running out of battery--after one half-hour conversation, mind you, I don't use it a lot.

Please tell me if a new battery will solve the problem or if you think I jarred something loose that ruined the connection from the charger to the battery. I have a V3.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!

my phone only holds a charge for a few days, even i don't use it. It will even plain go dead in the middle of a call. I have only recently purchased the phone a couple of weeks ago. Getting kind of tired of having to recharge it.

my phone is only holding a charge for a few days, even if I don't use the phone. It also just stops when i'm in the middle of a call. I don't put a lot of minutes on it but i'm having to recharge it pretty quick. I have only had the phone a few weeks. It was my (update phone, after a few years with my old samsung) great switch ha ha

Hi, my phone is not getting a charge. I charged it in my house and car. I hate this phone and my carrier won't let me get a different phone only another Motorola Razr V3.... seeing that this is my 3rd one I think I'd like a problem free phone. Is there any one out there who could help with this charge problem please. Thanks so much!

I left my Motorola Razr 3 on charge last night as usual. This am it had switched off & will not switch on again. I have attached it to my computer via USB charger & the green light is showing on the front...

Computer will not charge your phone if the computer is off, may stop charging during standby or sleep mode. If failure to charge over night was on wall charger its a problem with charger/cable. OR your phones battery is junk.

Phone doesn't turn on.

You should not allow the battery to fully drain,it will die sooner.

Remove the battery for 5mins, replace, and then try and turn on the phone.

Dead battery won't recharge

if it still new and you've still got the warranty then you should ask for replacement of the whole unit.
seems that the problem of your phone is the unit itself, the charging circuit migth have disorders/malfuntioning.
ever tried checking for the specifications and directions for charging the unit.
i greatly suggest that if you got the warranty still, have it replaced.
good day!!!

YOU COULD HAVE A FAULTY BATTERY.ALSO YOU CAN CAR CHARGE IT AND SEE IF IT WORKS BETTER THAT WILL ELIMINATE THE CHARGERS TO SEE IF IT IS THE BATTERY.IF THE CHARGERS ARE GOOD AND THE BATTERIES ARE GOOD THEN THE PHONE HAS A BAD DRAW OF POWER.IT COULD BE INTERNAL..I DON'T THINK A FUNCTION WOULD POWER IT DOWN WHILE YOU ARE SLEEPING WITH IT CHARGING
GOOD DAY

My display outside and inside isnt working for my motorola razr v3

bring it to a technician, and let him know what the new battery and charger did to your normally fine phone. They should be responsible for repairing your phone. No easy fix as described above. Let me know how it works.

Charging

Its the battery.

You can try putting the battery in the freezer for 8 hours, then leave it at room temperature for 24 to see if it can be saved.

Best of Luck.

The buttons...well..they don't work.

If you slept on it you might of got the keys stuck. so find one of the solved problems to open up your keypad and check if theor stuck or if the cabel is loose.
