I have a laptop model A535 and the product recovery discs dont work

To launch the HP Recovery Manager, do any of the following

Click Start , type recovery in the search field, and select HP Recovery Manager to run recovery from the D drive.

Turn on power and press F11 key to run recovery without booting onto Windows (on some models esc key and then F11 key ).

Insert user-created Recovery disc in disc drive and turn on power to boot from the DVD disc.

this laptop has a ECS motherboard, all drivers are in the page in this link:

Download-Device-Drivers.com enter your product model and search for your mod and download your drivers.

call thje manufacturer and give them the model number of you machine, and serial number and they will send you a set of discs, for about $20 plus S/H

Hello! I have an ECS a535. My laptop has an Athlon 4 mobile processor with a 133mhz fsb. It comes with 128 MBs of DDR233, which is upgradable to 640 MB by adding a 512 MB module. It has a 40 GB hard drive, a DVD drive, 14.1 inch XGA screen and XP Home. The external ports include 4 USB ports, 1 parallel port, 1 S-video TV out, 1 VGA out, 1 microphone in and 1 headphone out. I don't know if you need all this info, but I'll let you have it anyway. Hope it helps!
