Question about JVC DX-T9 System
When i try to open the dvd try. it say LOCKED. what seems to be the problem?? there are 3 dvd disk inside the try 1,2,5 the try 3, and 4 are empty, but when i press the eject button. it say "locked"
That means your trays
are on Child Lock (this is a safety feature to prevent any accidental opening
or closing of disc trays by small children when listening to your favorite tracks.)
To solve this, simply switch off your radio to Standby and hold the power
button...whilst holding the power button, press open on the tray that is
locked....the system will display UNLOCKED on the display of your hi-fi.
That should be it. To
lock the tray....repeat the same process on the particular tray u want
locked.

Have checked the manual? For starters disconnect the power, and leave off for a couple of hours. Check around[the back?] to see if there is a release catch[may be a small hole in the back of the unit into which a straightened paper clip is inserted to trip the catch. Come back

To unlock, manually press and HOLD the open/close button & the stop button simultaneously, and HOLD them both down until the lock picture disappears. The DVD will eject when you press the open/close button.
To lock the DVD inside the machine, repeat the same step, and it will lock it inside.
