If you buy an 8x AGP graphics adapter(video card) for a 4x AGP system, the card will function at 4x rate, it will still work with your system, and also download and install the latest catalyst drivers for your computer at (ATI.com)

Will not recognise driver after system restore

The OS is what needs to recognize the driver by matching it with hardware. So approach it from that perspective. If that helps, because the OS is not posted.

Make sure you set the primary graphics in the bios to pic-e and you will likely have to upgrade your power supply as this card requires at least a 400 watt you pc came with a 285 watt not near enough power for this video card and could be your problem

ATI Radeon HD 4350 will not display red.

Hello,

It could be a problem with the monitor cable.

Try unplugging and re-plugging the PC to monitor cable (VGA cable)

If possible, Use a different monitor to ensure that your video card is working fine.

Advice for buying a new power supply compatible with my videocard

Get a 600 watt they are better and will handle all that you need the price from a 450 W to 600W is not much I run 7 dvd's a ATI Video capture card with a 64 bit AMD processors 1 80 gig Hd 2 Sata Drives 120 gig and sound blaster audio card and more and the 600 watt does fine The Corsair is ok Where to you think your going to get it at on line? or at a store? You can buy them at
tiger direct.com or Fry's.com The 600 watt ATI power supply will have 6 standard HD connecotors and I use three Y's for more and never had any problem with mine.

ATI Radeon HD4850 512MB GDDR3 with

you have to go into control panel hardware and sound, now click on sound, you will see speakers with a green check next to it. on top you will see HDMI enable those and hit test button. this is part of device no worry bout bios or motherboard. Just make sure you use the adapter that came with the video card it will only work with the supplied adapter. Not a dvi to hdmi cable. this will work. i hope this helps and good luck. I can coach you more but i am not sure of your operating system. i was coaching you using vista.

Graphics Card Compatability

Yes, it should work ok.. Your motherboard supports 1 x AGP8X, and since this card is 8x AGP, and includes a power adapter cable, it should be fine. Just make sure you have an adequate power supply (400watt+)...
