Question about LG DU-37LZ30 37 in. LCD HDTV
My tv works very good, picture excelent and every thing very easy to use, but I have a problem: I have connected a VCR Sony through a Scart to the AV1 a JVC Divx DVD through a Scart to the AV2 and a Sony DVD recorder throug another Scart to the DTV OUT to be able to record straight from the freeview. The problem is: I cannot record from freeview through the DTV OUT. Actually the only thing I can do with the Sony DVD recorder is swithcing it on, I put a dvd and I cannot watch it because I don't know how to, I cannot record with it, how can I record freeview? How should I connect the DVD to record from the freewiew? How can I watch films throug this DVD? Thanks in advanced for your help.

if your cables are not compatible or incorrect ends then try to buy an adaptor to fit to the right connectors. so you will be able to connect each ends.

I have recently purchased a TV with built in Freeview. How can record programs onto my VCR? How many scart cables do I need?

The best suggestion I would advise is to buy a shielded scart connector & connect that from your DVD combi to either AV1 OR AV2. It sounds as if you are picking up RF interference from your current connections, this can sometimes happen if the cables do not have adequate shielding.
