Your RGB settings has most likely been altered, resulting in some problems. Check your settings menu on the monitor itself and reset the settings to default. If that is not the problem, it's probably the computer's settings that has caused this change. You will need to go to the computers monitor settings and reset that to default to get back to normal colours.

SOURCE: my whole screen has a blueish green tint

  • Make sure the plugs are hard into the sockets, one loose pin can cause strange colour problems.
  • A faulty signal cable between PC and monitor can also cause colour problems, try a different cable if possible
  • Try it on a different computer to find out whether the computer or the monitor is the problem. If it's the monitor and none of the above works, it will need service or replacement. If it's the computer, your video card is likely to be the problem.

Lg flatron w1943tb color fades in and out to a blue green

Follow the following solutions, this should fix up your trouble
1. Turn yourmonitor on. It should be on for at least 20 minutes before you continue.
2.Press the"Auto/Select" button on the front of your computer's monitor. Thescreen will be wavy while the adjustment happens. When the screen stops beingwavy, the faded colors should no longer be visible.
Follow steps 1 and 2 if you do not have a disk for the monitor.

My monitor screen is a bright green color

Please check all the pins at both end of the VGA cable, also try it on another PC also since the problem can be in the video card. We need to narrow dow the problem first.

Green horizontal

I believe that you must reset the colors of the screen by the buttons on it or try to set colors by the software that the product came with it if any. There should be a setting to configure the 4 basic colours like red green black etc. Try to adjust green. If nothing helpes go the monitor back to test it by the store you bought it if there is warranty. Hope that helped!

Oh!!! no!!! ITS not the video card or what so ever rebooting will fix this problem.... its the monitor..... it is waht they called virtual chip inside the monitor that is malfunctioning, I already experience this problem.... and i will suggest that if your using basic monitor, which to an LCD monitor, its better.

Brand new monitor screen doesn't have any red

Take it back and buy a recognised brand monitor looks like yours could be a melon .Even a second hand one by Acer would be better.

Monitor screen changes from regular color to a green tinted screen?

Looks like you need to purchase a new monitor. If it's too worn out then it's the outcome. I also had the same problem before and I ended up buying a new one. You should not experience that thing if it's new.

Ghosting, Flickering, Green Sparkeling Lines, Color Washout.

I had a similar problem on a different monitor and fixed the green sparkles by selecting a lower refresh rate.

Monitor screen changes from regular color to a green tinted screen?

Is the cable connected securely? You may need to check your video card also. You may be able to disconnect the cable and get a red, green, blue icon on the screen. If that appears normal then there is nothing wrong with the monitor itself, it may be the cord or the video card.

Hope this helps!
