Tv F27442 my tv has no power does it have a reset button? i put a screwdriver in the little hole in the back and for 1 second i had a fuzzy picture...then NOTHING!

You will need: A clip. Open out the clip. find the tiny reset hole (see photo). Note that once a second more or less, if no more action is taken, the tablet can shut off, then be restarted normally.

5. Use clip to scroll down the list of choices. To reset the tablet, choose wipe data/factory reset. Press power button to confirm the choice. (If you go past the specified choice, carry on clicking, because the choice can scroll back to the highest once at the bottom).

On the back or side of your router, there should be a little hole that looks like it has a little button in it. You can either use the tip of a pen, a toothpick, a small screwdriver, or something like a paperclip to insert into the little hole and you should feel a button depress. Hold that button down for 30 seconds, or until the router reboots itself. This should reset the router to factory settings, and the password will either be on the back of the router on a sticker, or you'll be able to find it online by searching for your router brand and default username/password.

Hard to say since you didn't leave a router type, but typically:
1) get a pen (Bic pen) 2) Look for a small hole on the back of the router. This is typically the reset. 3) With the power on, put the pen in the hole and push for 30 seconds. 4) Unplug the router, wait 30 seconds, plug it back in. It should now be reset to factory.

You can reset your phone, but you would lose all of your music, pictures, videos, just any saved settings would be gone.
If you want to reset it.
1. Take the battery out of its compartment for 60 seconds. 2. Put the battery back in. 3. Find a little hole in your cell phone and use a small screwdriver and then press it for 10 seconds. Your phone should reset now.

You could try using a small screwdriver pushing straight in thru the hole where the power button was. If that doesn't work, put screwdriver in hole then push down on it. The switch inside the TV could be just inside the hole or up to an inch or so inside. To prevent electric short, wrap tape around screwdriver.
If that doesn't work, unplug the TV and take the back off, slide the circuit board out far enough to see how the power switch works then go from there. The actual switch is soldered to the circuit board. The power button is only a piece of plastic that actuates the switch.

do a hard reset - press the little button inside the device, while unplugged and disconnected. hold with a paperclip for at least 30 seconds.

This will reestablish factory default settings

yes!!!! very common problem. soldering the vertical section and the grounds around the tuner section will fix it. guaranteed fix. for a quick fix, take off back and while tv is on, take the plastic side of screwdriver and tap tap tap the tuner section. see i told you that would fix it.

1. Try this - hold the menu button down for 10 seconds. TV should power up; you will have to turn off front panel buttons on menu.

2. You can also try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works..

3. Powering down the set or putting it in standby may have allowed the power supply to cool. Weak capacitors often go out of spec when they cool, thus preventing a section of the power supply from firing up properly again. There is a simple trick...just warm the back of the TV with a hair dryer for 5-7 mins after you have unplugged the TV. Look for the little areas of holes in the back panel of TV. Use these as your guide at where to use the hairdryer, but don't hold the dryer too close (say 5-6inches away). (Make sure the dryer is on High heat). If the TV doesn't turn on after you have heated it up (like it tries to come on but then turns off) you need to unplug the TV again, this resets it. And repeat those steps till it works. Resetting the TV after it fails to turn on is the key.
