The camera has just been working great, got it in December. But now when I turn it on, it just displays a white screen with a blue vertical line down the middle. I can hear the sound and playback, but i cannot see it. It has not been dropped or damaged, can anyone help me?
White Screen of Death huh! Did you just invent that one, it is very apt I must remember to use it. Any way it seems you are right - It could be anything from a firmware failure on the main board to a loose connector- Nothing you can do your self internally. Simple thing to try take the batteries out for an hour or so and making sure fully charged ones go back in. Check the manual to see if there is a reset option. Finally get onto the makers Website to check out if there is not an issue with this model and they are offering remedy's and or replacement. As it is only 6 month old - You should be covered under warranty
