My Zanussi FX1465W has stopped working. When it is turned on after a while it starts to beep 5 consecutive times and the end light flashes. The manual only mentions 1, 2 and 4 beeps not 5...Please can someone advise on the problem?

The engineer came out and said the motor had gone. I also contacted Zanussi customer service and they confirmed that the motor has gone and would be cheaper to buy a new one!!
I have done now and NOT a Zanussi as mine was only 2 years old, so didnt last very long for a washing machine!
Same issue. System beeps five times and doesn't spin at all. Water seems to drain no problems. Machine is only just turned 4 years old.
my washer flasehes twice on my 40 degree cycle. have cleand the filter but still no joy. Can anyone help the manuel suggests beeping but not flashing while washing.

Zj1217 won't start. Led lights flash (2 4 and 8)
The door clicks and the end light beeps 4 times, which I gather indicates a problem with the door lock. I don't know where that is, or how to access it.
