Not sure what issue is: it turns on then quickly off?

short in power supply or more commonly in the high voltage area---bad solder connections (age of set does not matter) are also very common.

Troubleshooting a Sharp LC-60LE452U TV?

This sounds like a power board issue, if you unhook all boards and power the power supply up does your standby voltage seem steady?

Sharp TV struck by lighting replaced all boards got standby light could the led lights be fried and keeping TV from powering up

There is a row of LED lights that are called the "Backlight" and if there is just one LED burned out, the cost of replacing the back light strip will either meet or exceed the cost of the TV. I have worked on several TVs and they ALL had the same issue.

You might luck out and find a repair shop in your town\city that knows about this issue and can go in and replace that LED strip( it carries 25+LEDs in a single row) or just replace the burned out LED(s) without costing you more than what you paid for the TV.

Hope this helps.

How do I turn off standby mode on a Sony XBR television?

Here's how, but it will cost you in life expectancy of your TV set. Standby costs a bit of energy but prevents cold components getting a sharp smack of power surge and also lessens amount of heating components are subjected to during start up.

Sharp tv 20V-L80M standby only

If not power up even by remote control then check the the H-out transistor for short, open fusible resistor in line with the b+. This is the most common fault of your problem.
Needs a technician to isolate the problem.

Sharp aquos won't turn on

Any indicator lights on, if it is then you only have the standby 5v circuit working, you will need to have the power supply check out first, that is a starting point.

Sharp 34" TV

Why shouldn't it be worth fixing? It's only 4 years old, my own TV is 15yo, I fixed it twice but it's still kick'n! You have a problem in the power supply, do you have electronic's know how? And test equipment? Soldering equipment? If so we could walk you through it, If not A repair man should only cost 80 to 100 to fix it.
