Question about CTX Optoma EzPro 680 Multimedia Projector

Red lines My EzPro 680 has a problem, Theres a red shadow around objects, it's like all red colors are shifted 1 inch to the right. Is this a lamp problem (lamp used for aprox. 1000h now) or is this something else Is it wise to open the projecter and try to push te red LCD back in place? Thanks in advance, Tim van Eijs

    Someone posted a solution but i can't see it. if i click te link i see a list of problems with sulutions but i don't see my problem there.

At the upper left and lower right corners of the screen there is a red shadow. In the menu I cannot adjust the red in these areas. it is a full cross out of alignment.

Have Hitachi 50 inch Projector TV, model 51F500A. Built 6/2004. Picture has shadows, primarily in red color, on objects or writing. Top 6 inches distorted as well as bottom 2 inches. Tried Magic Focus...

that is come from your convergence panel theres
2 ic call stk - xxxx
youe have to replace it and then remake alignement for your convergence you should have it in the menu adjustement then magic focus will finalized and you can replace the 45 volt regulator transistor
hope that give you a idea//and should not be to expensive if you get an honest

This is a common problem. Its called a convergence failure.

In the videomenu theres an option called convergence. you can shift blue and red color arround the green on, hopefully solving you're problem.

EZPRO 610H...has a red shadow

this is ghosting, caused by interferance. cheaper cables tend not to have metal sheathing and those ferrite RF suppression thingees on the ends, which prevents this problem.

also, avoid running your signal cables next to power cables. If your cables are long (say more than 10m) this may also cause problems.
