I bought this phone on 24 of April this year from Nokia dealer,immedatelly i took the phone to my service provider for internet connection,which was configured for internet browsing.I was able to browse for few days untill last weeks,anytime i press the botton to browse all i got was unable to connect check tht connection setting.I took the phone to my service provider but I was told that the setting are good,my fear now is that I was told that the phone is not good.Pls somebody should help me out.

If u have allready checked out the settings, kindly just check out that the service itself is activated or not, i am having same fone and gets this error whenever i my service gets deactivated, even after that if it does not work than check out in another handset just for the clarification that the problem is with the service or with the handset,and also check that weather u are getting G sign at the left hand side top.

To send/Recieve MMS you should have GPRS connectin.
To get the GPRS connection please call your service provider.Give your mobile make and model so that they can send you the GPRS and MMS settings.

First a comment - my 2 yr/old threw one of my Nokia phones into our pool a few years ago - I took the battery off and let it dry and it powered up just fine - I replaced the phone to be sure I had continued coverage but for the moment DON'T PANIC!
Log in to your service provider and print your most recent calls - you will likely remember who you called or who called you so you at least have some back up information.
I assume your phone service provider is AT&T - unfortunately your phone is not supported by their wireless backup program - a program that costs about $2.00 a month and auto syncs your contacts to a database on line. Make sure you select a phone that is compatible and subscribe to the wireless back up plan when you replace your phone - the $24 year is well worth the extra assurance!
Go to sony ericsson website and search for battery genuineness checking page. Provide your battery serial no. and check whether its original battery or not. If its fake, then approach the dealer from whom you bought this mobile.
