My camera is showing Write protect error

I know this might sound like one of the error codes on pg 32 of the user manual but when i tried to change the properties of the folder of the memory of the camera (by unchecking the read only box) using the computer it changes temporarily and when i refresh it the card goes bacj into read only mode. when i format the card directly from the camera i can only open the camera shutter "once" to click snaps, the next time i open the shutter it goes into write protect mode. please help.... :(

You format the card from the menu of the camera, and you open the camera moving the cover on the lens without doing nothing else before and the camera works again, I spend 3 hours with computer and camera and i luckily found the solution.

You have to now FORMAT the card in the camera. You must never modify the card in a computer - apart from opening/closing a folder or moving files.

How can I reset the passcode for GE Simon XT Alarm .

Here is the user manual for you: http://www.securtek.com/products-services/system-user-guides/ge/GE%20SimonXT%20User%20Manual.pdf . Answers are found on pg 31-32. Go to Section heading entitled "Access codes" (shown in blue). It then walks you through changing the Master Code, User Codes 1 to 8, and the Duress code. Not sure which code you are looking for but the steps for each code are pretty simple. Hope this helps.

Manually how to solve the system error c:32:01 in sony H20 camera when opening video mode

Hi,

The C:32:01 error code displayed on the Camera screen indicates the internal malfunction happened in the Camera. Try turning off and on the Camera to check if it works. If the issuer persists, perform the following steps:

Performing a manual power reset may help:

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

To reset the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the Main Settings Menu of the Camera to OK. This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.

Reset the camera to factory specifications to try resolving the issue.

Thanks for resolving the issue.

Yamaha model HTR 6130 Hardly used , professionally installed , well ventilated has been working well . In the last couple times used after 10 / 20 mins. audio drops out both on T V and D V D mode...

Do you have the users manual? If not, google your model number and select manualslib.com. I am not seeing error codes to help diagnose, do you see any error indication? Your users manual says to check speaker impedance for a mismatch to your amp and speakers. There may be a problem causing the unit to go into protect mode. Check all speakers and speaker wiring. Try removing all speakers and see if problem duplicates. Has a timer function been accidentally programmed? If you have a mute indication display, see if that is activating. Are you using HDMI functions, HDMI intermittencies can be prevalent on different makes and models. Try different inputs, does failure remain? If this doesn't help, more than likely you need professional repair. Is overheat protection showing? Does check spkr wires show on display? As a last resort, before service, do a system reset to factory values, pg 59 or 63 in manual.

I have a Sony PDX-10 and it's giving me two blinking yellow symbols (underlinded triangle and tape with line through it) when I fire it up loaded with a tape. Tried changing with tapes that work fine in...

Hello,
Looking at PDX 10 User Manual Page 232

Your description -

Under lined Triangle

Cassette Ejection needed
Slow Flashing: The Write protect tab exposed

Fast Flashing: Moisture Condensation
Cassette out of tape
Self diagnosis display function activated

Sounds like the diagnosis function maybe your best shot......
Check displayed error codes in viewfinder on Page 231 of the User Manual or let me know if you dont have copy of them.

Tape Symbol Flashing:

Tape near end
No cassette inserted
The write protect tab exposed.

I think this is basically telling you the loading mechanism has a problem, the viewfinder is displaying an error code indicating the nature of the fault..... IF error Code is : E61:........ or E62........ (dots indicate extra numbers) these MUST be referred to Sony Service Centre.

Hope this may help

On board sound

Hi nrls14, it can get pretty confusing with Gigabyte.
Go to page 9 in your manual or Pg 13 if using Adobe Reader. Motherboard layout. If you download the manual which is in pdf format you'll be able to enlarge the manual which will help you to see everything much better.
Download manual from here: http://china.giga-byte.com/FileList/Manual/motherboard_manual_7n400pro2_e.pdf
This is the English manual. (Downloading from china is a faster site).
Find SUR_CEN located between PCI slots 2 & 3 on the motherboard. Than go to pg 32 in manual or pg 36 in pdf. Set the pins SUR_CEN. Set a jumper over pins 1&2 & 5&6.
Front Audio Connector, leave a jumper across pin 5&6 & 9&10 (Default). On page 22 in manual, pg 26 pdf. Follow Method1:
Instructions. (Test your speaker system). You may need some tweaking & this can be done with the software included on the Gigabyte CD by installing the sound effects manager. Go to page 78 in your manual or pg 82 in pdf. Page 80 in manual, pg 84 in pdf. For six channel 5.1 sound. If you decide to use the Advanced 6 Channel Analog Audio Output Mode (using Audio Combo Kit, Optional Device). Follow the instructions on page 81 in manual or pg 85 in pdf. (Do not let the picture on pg 81 spook you). Pg 81 shows a set of pins not located in-between the two PCI slots. You make this connection by removing the two jumpers on SUR_CEN & plug in the SURROUND-KIT on to SUR_CEN pins. Lastly, both motherboard manuals are the same for the GA-7N400 & the GA-7N400 Pro.

Good luck nrls14!
