Hi, printing with black or monochrome setting in the printer driver ,a mgenta color appears at the top of the black like color displacement. please help thanks
Check the capabilities of the printer in the manual. But in general- to get black general purpose printers print all colours. This is the normal way to get a black black in the CYMK process. Some printers offer black only as a setting or a special black/monochrome ink. Some specialist ink suppliers[Lycos] will offer a 'black set' that is where the colour carts are replaced with a shades of grey. Where does your printer come in this scheme of things also take a look here www.fixyourownprinter.com

The Grayscale print option optimizes the look of color slides for printing on a black and white printer by adding shading. The Pure Black and White option prints your slides in monochrome.
