Kristen-follow the hoses-water comes into machine at the water supply valves-hot and cold which go into the tub-then there is a drain pump which is connected to the tub via a hose-the out put of the drain pump is connected to the drain through the back of the machine usually at the bottom and this goes into your houses' drain-follow the hoses and you shall reach laundry success-cheers Denny
Yes their should be a tube that sticks out of the back about 6-8 inches the vent is connected to.The part number for that tube is 131451600 it could be purchased atyour local appliance parts store or it could be ordered online at; searspartsdirect.com apdepot.com repairclinic.com apwagner.com partselect.com
to replace that tube the entire dryer must be disassambled to get to the blower housing to connect
if the conection is not on the back of the washer than you will nead to remove the two screw's at the bottom of the frount panal, remove the panal and you should see the drain line on the left side in the backmake sure you have somthing to catch the water befor you remove the clamp holding drain hose on.
there will always be water inside he machine(between the tubs, and in the hoses, but no so much to add that much weight so you cant move it, i would look to see of perhaps a levevling leg has hit the floor not allowing you to slide easily.
