It does not finish a cycle. In the first third of the cycle starts to beep intermittently and the "trouble" light blinks, until I press the reset button. I re-start the cycle, but then again minutes later it starts to beep and the "trouble" light blinks. The third time I re-start the cycle, then the cycle finishes up!
Any suggestions?

Sounds like the timer module is going bad. Might be getting moisture on contacts. That would explain why it works one time and not the next.Just trying to help!
This light is indicating a problem hold down the start button until you hear a beep.Try cycle again if this light blinks again you may have a heating problem call your local service agent.
I think can answer your question..."beeping sound when cycle is finished just started after 8 years. how do I turn it off?"
Follow these steps...
**How to Operate the Cycle Completion Signal**
1. Open door, hold down program button (see Beeper Table below) and simultaneously turn the unit "ON".
MODEL Program BUTTON
SHU 9950 Delay Start Hours **SHU 9910-9920 Delicate/Econo** should be yours SHU 8800/8810 Quick Wash SHV 6800 Delay Start Hours SHV 4800 Delicate/Econo SHV 4300 Delicate/Econo
2. Release program button. a. For SHV 6803 and SHU9950 models: The display will blink with a code of "0", "1" or "2". You are in program mode.
? If the display blinks with a "0", you will hear no signal (indicates OFF).
? If the display blinks with a "1", you will hear a LOW volume signal.
? If the display blinks with a "2", you will hear a HIGHER volume signal.
b. For all other models with the beeper function:
? If the machine beeps, then the Cycle Completion Signal has been enabled.
? When you push the button again and it does not beep, it means that the Cycle Completion Signal has been disabled.
3. To change the program, press the program button until the desired setting is selected.
4. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of program mode.
* At the end of a wash cycle, the beeper will sound off two times, and again every 15 minutes until the dishwasher is turned off.
Hope this answers your question and provides you with what you needed.

a worn film capacitor on the circuit board is the cause of the problem which often manifests itself after several years using the dwf 407. Replacing the film capacitor on the circuit board is the solution! Such a capacitor costs about GBP 2. The removal of the circuit board that is in the door is not very difficult, four torque screws along the inside top of the door (not the two for the door lock) a click system in which the print is stuck in the door. On the print are a few connectors with wires to loosen-take picture or mark them for reassembly purposes. There are several types of DWF 407, sometimes the print is slightly different. But the culprit is always the big gray block. The value that you must have is 250/275 V 1,5UF. Many electronics stores have them or can order them. Soldering you can do yourself if you have some experience or ask your local handyman. It is not very difficult, you have plenty of space on the board and only two feet soldering required. After that my dishwasher was as new at the fraction of the price
DWF 415 Ikea Whirlpool Dishwasher has constant green blinking light. Drain pump works ok (as it will pump out a jug of water if I tip it into it!) but no water comes in. Cycle stops about 30 seconds after thre is no more water to pump. Any ideas on how to fix?
