Question about Supersonic Televison & Video
I just bought a supersonic DVD player and it won't spin.I have the ac adaptor plugged into the power outlet.I have a supersonic 7" portable DVD player model no sc-178dvd
Some suggestions assuming you know you're using good discs, and have this problem with more then 1 disc. In anything that requires you to open the player and play around in it, I also assume you're not too akward with electronics, and out of warranty: spindle motor problems - you could either fix that by changing the motor, or occasionaly by dropping a little bit of 3 in 1 oil on the shaft. Just dont start it as a hobby if you can still go complain at the store... Good luck

I have a K715 that was having the same problem. The "line select" had been switched from "in" instead of "out". Once I switched it back to "out", the player worked normal.

after losing the adapter to my portable dvd player i went to the localwalmart and in the electronics section they had all kinds of ac adapters. a generic one with the same volt rating as your old one should do the trick.

I own this dvd player and the AC adapter broke. Instead of paying for a new cord (if one is even available) we decided to order an AC to DC converter from Amazon so we can use the car cord for the dvd player in the house. We also own
an extra long life battery for the machine (from Battery Geek) and use that so we rarely
need the ac adapter.
