Laptop screen.
Ok, Start the laptop in safe mode.
Press F8 (do it a few times) just after the initial screens have faded when you turn the laptop on.
You will get a Windows Startup screen.
Select Safe Mode and press Enter twice.
After you get into Windows, goto..
Start - - Run
Type msconfig and click the OK button
In the new window that pops up select the Startup tab.
Click the word Manufacturer and it will sort the list into order.
Scroll down the list and remove the ticks from anything where Microsoft is NOT the manufacturer. Also make sure to leave your Anti Virus software ticked. It may list itself as anything, but reading the text will let you know what is what. If unsure, then just leave the Microsoft boxes checked and the rest unchecked.
Click Apply
Then OK
OK any other boxes that pop up, and restart normally.
Post back and let me know if you can now get in normally and we can proceed from there.
