hi follow this Step 1: Unplug the washer. To access the timer, remove the control knobs and the panel that covers the controls. This may be a front panel, or access may be through a panel at the back of the unit. Carefully examine the wires that connect the timer to the other parts of the washer. If the wires are loose or disconnected, try pushing them into position; they usually fit into their terminals like plugs. Use long-nosed pliers to avoid breaking the wire connections -- never pull a wire by handStep 2: To test the timer, use a VOM set to the RX1 scale. Disconnect the power leads to the timer and clip one probe of the VOM to each lead. The VOM should read zero if the timer is working. Since the timer is a multiple switch, turn it through its cycle and test each pair of terminals in turn. The meter should read zero at all of these points. If one or more readings are above zero, the timer is faulty and should be replaced.
Step 3: To replace the timer, unscrew and disconnect the old one. Install a new timer made specifically for the washing machine. If there are many wires on the timer, have a helper hold the new timer next to the old one as you work. Disconnect the old wires one at a time, connecting each corresponding new wire as you work, to make sure the connections are properly made. Or, draw a diagram showing the connections before removing the old timer. After all the wires are connected, check the connections again for correctness and screw the timer assembly into place.
thank u.......................

Try to pull out the power-cable from the contact. Wait for at least 30 seconds then reconect it again.
Sometimes that can help but not always. If that dosent help you need to let a profesional repairshop fix your machine.

Good luck

pcb as the signs were that the pcb was stuck in a programme and unable to change. Anyway, long story short, to fix it:
Take the lid off the washing machine (2 screws at the back) *unplug first
Locate the pcb, unscrew and lift above the washing machine with all wires in tact.
Locate the wires that are coming out of the back of the "program" board, it should be 2 blue wires.
Follow these back to the pcb and unplug
plug in washing machine
Turn on washing machine
Only the on/off light should come on
Whilst on, and being careful, plug back in the wires you unplugged
VOILA, fixed washing machine!!

Right, have to go, got a weeks worth of washing to do!!!!

SOURCE: My zanussi zwf12070 washing machine will not do

Hello,
If I am correct and 3 red flashes and 1 green then that is E31 which is normally a heater fault but can also be a faulty pressure switch or main programmer. This machine is covered by the 5 year major parts warranty.Does not cover the heater and it is normally the heater for that code. You can either get an Electrolux engineer to call out or your local service guy but be warned that only genuine heaters can be used on these machines they have safe fail fuse links in these elements.

Hope this was helpful.

Zanussi machine washer. ZWF 1000M The wash button is red. The rinse button, spin button, and power botton is flashing red. This happened several minutes after tuning oN the 30 min cycle.

According to your description it is a failure E9- motor is not working. The temperature rises too high. The motor cut off for heat safeguard (Harness failure, PCB failure).

My zanussi zwg 6141p washing machine is calling water at start of cycle but is not going into drawer to swill out detergent , is also stopping half way with the green light on the start button flashin

Some appliances malfunction can be displayed in hexadecimal or in binary code.
So your device is defective and shows you what's wrong. You have to count how many times flashes red light and how many times flashes green light. Red light shows the first error number and green light the second error number.
For example: you forgot to close the door and you started washing machine. After some time (timeout) will generate an alarm. Four times will flash red light and once the green light which means error code " E41 " or "Open door"
" E20 " means "No drain water"
" E10 " means "No fill up water"

Check the belt that spins the drum for proper tension. If it has stretched you will have a hassle. Often you can loosen a belt pulley and put some extra tension on belt, restore friction and operation till belt is replaced with a nice, new tight one.

Zanussi washing machine error codes 1 red flash and then 1 green flash

Hi there Yovanah:
Reds and greens on the start LED in a recurring sequence (unless you have an LCD display in which case the error code is displayed on screen).

Red flashes are the first digit in the error code, green the second. i.e. 5 reds, 2 green, then pause = E52. Which indicates a fault in the drive train...motor, motor capacitor, wiring, or pcb. Error codes are far from foolproof...on the contrary they can be directly misleading at times. But invalid error codes are almost always an indication of a defective pcb.

According with your code, E11 = Problems with water fill in wash phase (maximum 10 minutes for each fill phase).

Possible causes:
1: Tap closed
2: Mains water pressure insufficient
3: Solenoid valve
4: Hydraulic circuit of pressure switches
5: Pressure switches
6: Wiring 7: Main PCB

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day

Zanussi Electrolux ZWF 1430 W (E20 error)

Check water "forreign object trap". It's under the lid at the bottom of the machine. First drain water by pulling out the hose and pull out the plug. Then unscrew the trap. Have had this E20 error twice. First it was two coins there, next it was a big paperclip. Have worked fine ever since.11_20_2011_8_57_27_am.jpg
