Hi. I have the Philips CDR820 4-Disc CD Recorder. The changer drawer is jammed and will not open when I press the button. I know there is a similar problem already posted, but I found the solution very unhelpful. Can I please get a more detailed explanation. Thanks!
GET A SCREW DRIVER ! take the lid off (make sure its not pluged in idiot!) lol!!!
anyway take the lid off and take a look inside see if you can figure it out. take a look if you can see any problems jaming the door
just explor it remembering where every screw goes you may by doing this may find the problem

Mike, you will have to take machine apart and locate drawer release pin or take a chance and pry on drawer with butter knife while continually pressing eject button. Check links below for more methods of opening CD drawer. press the helpful button
looks like the rotor is jam or broken, try to unscrew it and open the top cover so you can see the rotor and then plug it in to the power source ,then always press the open/close button and check the rotor if its jam or broken and see what happen.
