RCA D52W19 52 in.

I bought this tv for my husband 2yrs ago, we recently moved and the tv got a slight jarring. when we went to plug it in the pic was purple. paid 75.00 for someone to tell me the green tube was bad. after a long battle with rca i got them to give me the part{still under warranty but not the service}which then voided the rest of my warranty. my husband and i took apart the tv and with a lil nudge we have a green pic.tube and a great pic. so if we get this with fooling with the green pic componet could it be something else? 3 diff. repair ppl gave me prices ranging from 300. to 600. how hard would it be to replace it ourselves?

Replacing any or all of the crt's in a proj TV is a difficult challenge for any qualified technician. It's not something normally done in the home either - because of the adjustments and tear-down required. I'm assuming you have a crt that does not have the cooling chamber already on it. And therefore you'll need to attach the cooling chamber and fill it with EC (a clear fluid similar to anti-freeze) that keeps the crt from overheating. Then there comes the job of alignment. I would assume you don't have a pattern generator or some of the other equipment you'll need. I applaud your abilities thus far but here's where I'd STRONGLY recommend you get a reputable shop to do the install. If you would like some help finding one call NESDA (National Electronic Service Dealer's Assn.) and ask about member shops in your area...

Not getting a picture but power is on and hearing a noise in the back of t.v.

If it is a LCD TV they have a projection bulb in them that can burn out after a time. Or if the TV has been moved recently it is possilbe that the bulb was jarred loose. Check the owner's manual for more info.

Probably a failling DC-DC invertor which powers the back light, it's the most common fault with LCD TV's check to see if there is a wear kit available.

www.lcdtvparts.co.uk is a good site for spares

Well, Hate to say this to you but your Cummins 24v turbo diesel does not have glow plugs. The fuel temperature necessary for proper ignition is heated by an element inside your fuel filter housing.

YOU NEED TO HOOK YOUR RCA CABLES FROM YOUR DVD,TV,AND DIGITAL CABLE TO THE INPUT SIDE OF THE SURROUND. HOOK THE RCA CABLES FROM THE TV TO THE AUX SIDE AND THE DVD TO THE VCR INPUT, AND THE DIGITAL TO TH LD SIDE OF THE INPUT YOU CAN SWITCH BETWEEN THE 3 ON THE FRONT OF THE SURROUND.BY MOVING THE KNOB. YOU WILL GET NOISE FROM THEM THEN TO THE SPEAKERS.

Won't work

It sounds like something in the high voltage (flyback) circuit failed. If any little thing shorts in these RCA's they will not start up. Stargazer
