JVC KD-SX770 Just got a JVC KD-SX770 car cd player and hooked it up and everything is fine except when I try to put a cd in to play the display shows please eject. I have tried other cd's in various formats and this display keeps happening. Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, mine sat dormant for a month. That could be the problem. Anyway, I gave it back to the original owner and got my money back. I am going to get something else. Thanks anyway.

Jvc kd-sx770 car stereo--radio works, but cd player doesn't

Hello beeswing70,

The player is recognizing that a CD has been inserted but is not able to read it.

Sometimes the lens assembly becomes contaminated and obscures the laser. I'd try using a commercial "lens cleaning CD" two or three times and then try a CD again. These lens cleaning CD's are widely available. If cleaning does not help, the player need professional service.

Hope this helps.

Dosent play burnt cds

Try to burn cd in 4x speed burn. Or try to burn the audio as CDDA format at lower speed burn.

Crackes usually appears when burn the cd at high speed.

No audio output from jvc cd receiver kd-sx770

The internal amplifier is at fault.

This will need to be repaired by a electronics repairman.
There is no end-user fix.

You may choose to, instead, use the RCA low level outputs and install a dedicated amplifier to power your speakers.

Verify the fuses on the radio are good, and that there is not a blown speaker causing the internal amplifier to shut down.

Thanks for using FixYa - a FixYa rating is appreciated!!

Not reading MP3 cds

Have you tried removing the negative terminal from your car battery and giving it a few minutes. Hook the terminal back up and try your cd player again? That should be the same as resetting your cd player settings.

http://instrukcje.elektroda.net/caud/jvc/KD-G501.pdf

Sounds like you have a problem with the mp3 format being used.

Cd ejection

Look for a tiny, recessed Reset button on the front of the unit with the face removed. Press this button with a pen tip; it should spit out the CD and work correctly afterwards. This will also erase your station presets and audio settings.
