My machaine no longer takes the softner when on rinse .

When my machine is on a cycle it no longer takes the softner ! im quite frustrated with this matter i have washed out the draw on a number of occasions and even tried to use a thiner softner as i thought the concentrated one may be to thick. It just stays in the little softner draw untill eventually after a number of washes i end up washing the draw again and hopeing for the best on the next wash. Please help me i cant stand my clothes stiff and not smelling off comfort .

Open the soap drawer when softener should be taken and see if there is a jet of water into the conditioner box. if not, a common cause is the jets in the roof of the box blocked. poke a hairpin in the holes in the roof of the box and see if this cures the problem. if the rinse water does come in, this means that the actual water valve is ok

When putting softner in after loading clothes, the fabric softner runs out onto clothes before washing cycle begins

The part that puts softner in at the right time might be stuck open or broke. Have it looked at or see if you can find the problem.

Htwp1200doww where does fabric softner go

You have to do it manually. Ugh. See below from manual:

Liquid Fabric Softener (Manually add during rinse cycle)
1. Turn OPTIONS knob to FABRIC SOFTENER
2. Measure liquid fabric softener carefully, following instructions on the bottle, and add during the rinse cycle.

OPTIONS (on some models)
Set this option when planning to manually add fabric softener during the rinse cycle or when you use extra detergent or bleach to clean hazily soiled items. It provides an enhanced rinse.

In my hotpoint ultima WMD942P washing machine's softner compartment i always find water at the end of the cycle. its a new machine.

This is completely normal, the machine puts water into this chamber during the rinse cycle to wash the softener into the machine.

Fabric softner does not empty into washer during rinse cycle

Hi not sure how these work as we dont have them in the UK. With UK machines the soap and fabric softner are put into a drawer that pulls out the front of the machine. When softner and soap arnt going into machine properly we take drawer out and wash it in warm water, you usually find a lot of gunk built up blocking it, perhaps you have a similar problem. Hope this helps

The softner is no longer been pulled into cycle. We have cleaned the pwder/softner compartment and also followed the service instructions, removed the filter and cleaning that, but the softner is still in...

Mine did this when the filters in the hoses were clogged and it was taking too long for the water to enter the machine. I cleaned the filters and the softener was pulled into the cycle. Hope this helps.

NO WATER INTAKE WHILE RINSE OPTION IS ON

It sound like the cold water inlet valve is faulty, the rinse cycle uses only cold water, and the water in the 'wash' cycle is probably hot.You need a new inlet valve, which on your machine is probably a double hot/cold unit.If you can't get a new inlet valve, a handyman/electrician may be able to change the wiring to use the 'hot' inlet valve for cold water which will allow the machine to wash, and rinse, using cold water through the hot valve..Tikka?...Good luck...Nomess

I have Kenmore 3.5 super Capacity, PART # 48102. It no longer goes full cycle, stopping during or just before the rinse cycle. It also no longer dispenses bleach or softner.

I dont know about it not going through the full cycle, but as for the bleach and softner dispenser problems, i had the same issue. About 7 months after i had this same machine,,, the softner would enter the cycle during the first rinse, which i supose isnt a major problem, but it was quite annoying because by the time the 4th rinse was over,,, there was obviously no softner left on the clothes. It was still under warrenty so i had sears come over. They replaced the control board, thinking it was a timing problem, but it didnt solve the problem. They scheduled me for another time, and again sent over a repairman who didnt know what he was doing. I being 20, like to take things apart and see why they broke or how they work, so i pretty much knew what the problem was. I told this second guy what i thought and he ordered the part, 2 weeks later came back after i had recieved the part, installed it, and PROBLEM SOLVED. So im thinkingthis could be the same problem your having. If you take out the detergent draw to clean it or for whatever reason, if u look inside, and up,,, you can see holes where the water drops from,,, and that is the part you probably need fixed. I really cant remember what the part is called,,, but im assuming its something like Detergent Dispenser Asembly or somethng like that.

Tricity Bendix washer won't take fabric softner in rinsing cycle

Your machine possibly has a defective water inlet valve which is preventing water from entering the dispenser channel to flush the fabric softner into the machine. The inlet valve in inside of your machine right where the washer hoses attach. the solenoid valves on the inlet will need to be checked with a multimeter to verify if they are working properly.
