Ive noticed periodical delays when im playing cod4 !?! seems to be a graphic only (audio fine) problem maybe a 1 sec. lag also on ncaa 08 football. Should I go ahead and submitt this problem or is this normal behavior? Im a new user...thanks for any comments.
I've been getting a similar problem with The Last Remnant some loading screens lasted upwards of 2 minutes. The disc would sometimes rev up and down rather than maintain a constant speed as well.
I think it may be a sign that the 360 is not long for this world so to speak but would love to hear if anybody has any ideas.

Usually the video lags behind the audio. The reason is the video, in many TVs, takes longer to process than the audio coming direct from the device. To solve this, the audio needs to be delayed. This can be done by 1. Using the tv audio output. Most TVs sync the audio to the picture and this 'synced' audio is available at the output jack of the tv. 2. Delay the audio coming out of the device. Many home receivers have a 'Lipsync' feature designed for this issue. The setting is usually between 50 to 500 milliseconds of delay, depending on the TVs video processing time.
I hope this is clear and can help.
Yes, unfortunately, USB ports just aren't fast enough for live vocals. Some stereo setups have longer lag times than others, as well. A couple of ms is very noticeable. Have you tried adjusting the settings on the game? Go to "Options" on the Home Screen and select "Calibrate Lag." Here you can delay either your Audio or your Video in 1 ms increments to try to adjust for lag times. You may find a happy medium after adjusting these settings.
ok seems to me your xbox360 is buggered. Both of you.
How long have you had your xbox360?
Im guessing what a year or two? Beacause Ive got a uncle whos got a xbox whos xbox is broke because its standing up and when he puts a game in its ok, BUT when he takes it out.
It Comes out like ****. Its all scratched up etc. and its due to his HardDrive Failure problems. Basically the hard drive in his xbox360 is either Old , Nackerd Or just ****. SO Im suggesting go send your xbox360 to microsoft or something aka Warrenty. Or Go buy Xbox360 warrenty off GAME. www.game.co.uk <-- £50 - £60
if u haven't already , you may need to adjust your router settings
1. enable UPnP
2. enable DMZ
3. change ip settings from dynamic to static
4. check out game sites as may have to port forward some ports
