2004 dodge darango won't eject cd,.

Not quite sure what the release is on the stereo but you should be able to pop of the face plate the radio pretty easy. Once that is off there should be some evident screws or clips holding the deck in place. Once you do get it out just unplug the wiring harness, make sure to label them if it is not obvious. At this point you should be able to see how the case itself comes apart to get your CD out. There is usually a manual eject button you hit with a pin head or paperclip. Once it is out then plug it back in and cycle it a couple of times. Probably still a good unit.

The face plate on my radio will not work

Check the connections on the head unit and the face plate. use alcohol to clean them. Look for a reset button, and check fuses.

Can anyone tell me if there is a fuse behind the radio of a 1995 Jaguar XJ6? The radio has not worked for a long time and was wondering if it may be a fuse and would like to check. Problem is that it is...

Fuses are all located either under the bonnet or in the boot. Check the fuse map and then check all fuses that could be linked to the radio. Including 'ice head unit' fuses.

Digital Audio Compact Disc Player

Section 15-01: Radio, Tape Chassis and Digital Audio Compact Disc Player 1996 Probe Workshop Manual
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Compact Disc Player, Digital Audio SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(S) REQUIRED Description Tool Number Radio Removing Tool T87P-19061-A
Removal
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301).
  1. Remove the instrument panel finish panel (044D70). Refer to Section 01-12 for the removal procedure.
  1. Insert the Radio Removing Tool T87P-19061-A into the face plate holes until the tension of the tool locking into place can be felt. (There are tension clips that this tool pushes out of the way so the radio can pull out. Maybe you can insert 4 pins that will do the same thing.)
  1. Flex outward on both sides of the radio chassis (18806) simultaneously and pull the radio chassis from the instrument panel (04320) using the tool as handles.

OEM cassette/Radio removal

Quite simple actually, the hardest part will be getting the face off the dash. Then after that there is just a few bolts and some wiring harnesses to be removed.

All you have to do to get the face off is remove the 2 screws from the bottom then the screw which is elaborately hidden behind the clock (Which just pops out with a flat head) and then the face will come off after disconnecting the wiring harness to the random buttons.
