Question about Sanyo HT30744 TV

1 Answer

My picture is tinted green.

I own a Sanyo HD widescreen television (not LCD). I recently hooked up a home theater system to the set. Now, the picture has a greenish tint that comes and goes at will. I was wondering what could be the source of the problem. Could it be my surround sound? If not, what could be the cause?

Some programs donot show on full screen

Not all programs are broadcast in HD yet. The picture should fill the screen if it is broadcast in HD. The TV will shrink the picture of a SD broadcast to give you a correct picture aspect. SD is broadcast in 16:9 and HD in Widescreen

Hope this explains it.

VCR only records/plays in black and white

I just recently purchased an HD Samsung television and am trying to use it with an Insignia theater system, but picture images are night vision in blue and white. What's wrong with picture? My cable company is baffled, to say the least. What is wrong with this picture? If this system is incompatible to current quality HD television systems then it needs to be removed from market or modified.

Too much green color

Problem solved. I tried playing DVD and the TV picture was fine. So I double-checked cable wires from cable box - one of the wires was loose (obviously it was the red color input). After tightening, the TV picture is good as new.
