Question about Motorola TalkAbout T6530R (14 Channels) 2-Way Radio
One of the units transmits but does not receive...what should I do?
Your speaker is blown. The microphone still works but you can't hear any audio. Take it back if there not to old.

This one should be a very close match. The T4508 is a foreign version of the T4500.

You will find the manual here. The radio is part of the 280 series radios, so there is a general manual on all in that series.

Use scanning to monitor channels for transmissions or to find someone
in your group who has accidentally changed channels.
1. Short press MENU until the "Z" appears. The current setting
On/Off will flash.
2. Press either + or – to turn On or Off.
3. Press the PTT to confirm or MENU to continue set up.

You have your interference code eliminator set differently on the two radios. Here is a link to the T5 user guide (sorry I didn't have a link to the T3, but they should be very similar): http://www.gouldelectronics.co.uk/product-downloads/T5-20Manual-20EU.PDF
