My dehumidifier compressor runs and then shuts off, then runs and shuts off, continuously. The fan continues to run. It seems to be pulling water, though it's hard to tell how much because I have a...

Part of the problem may be that you have the humidity level set to high. The fan runs constantly to move the air around. When the unit senses a humidity level higher than what you have it set for, the compressor turns ON. Once it's ON, if the humidity level is short lived, it turns OFF.

Try setting the humidity level to the lowest possible setting. Usually, that 45%. If the humidity level in you home is higher than that, the compressor should turn ON and run until either the bucket is full or the humidity level reaches 45%. If this doesn't solve the problem, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit from the wall outlet for 12-15 minutes. Plug the unit bakc in, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set the humidity level at it's lowest setting. Allow the unit to run until it cuts OFF and check the bucket for water. Hopefully that 12-15 minute time out allowed the unit to reset itself.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

My window ac shut completly off. There was barly air coming out...then it shut off and there was ice in it.

If the A/C was running constantly, even when the temperature has dropped outside, the a/c unit can freeze up. Just let it thaw out, the ice will melt. Then turn it back on but turn it on at a higher temperature. Then ease it to the lowest temperature or highest cool setting. You probably have a clogged filter in the front of the a/c unit which takes in the air. These can be cleaned.

How to remove outdoor unit of split AC? I want to shift this 1.5 T system & install at new house.

HOPE YOU KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! put a set of ac gauges on the units access ports. turn the unit on. remove the cap from the Liquid line port( small Line). screw in the shut off valve with an allen wrench. watch the pressures drop on the gauges, when they reach 0 turn the unit off and screw in the suction line shut off valve. Now the freon is in the ac's coil. IF! the gauges read 0 it is safe to cut the copper lines.

My conditioner wont work. When i turn in on heat comes out.. What should i do>?

Do you have central air? If so put the fan on auto turn AC to lowest setting fan should come on in a minute if not go outside to your condenser unit check for ice building up on the compressor or any of the copper lines if it is you need refrigerant. If not you may need to blow out the condenser with an air compressor or shut off power hose it out. Also, look for broken wires. If all else fails call your local service Provider.

Gas heater shuts off after about 3minutes and have clean filter rinnai rce-329h gas heater

I have a problem with what you are asking,, the numbers you have are for a fan convection ROOM heater,, does the fan come on within this 3 minutes of running, if not it could be over heating and shutting down on a safety, if it does the thermostat could be bad and it is reaching the desired temp and shutting off like it shoud,, check the thermostat to make sure it is working properly,, set it at it's lowest temp turn on the unit have a themometer infront of the air flow see if the temp is the same as the setting,, how old is this unit, it may just be time to change with new,, if the controls are bad this unit sells for about 600 and to replace these parts is about 400, go to there web site,, write back and let me know how it goes,, good luck

Keeps shutting off at the lowest volume setting.

Check the switch wire connection. It's the one that turns the amp on when you turn the head unit on.

Exhaust fan running slow

sounds like the compressor is turning off cause of high pressure. check the coil that the exhaust hose connects to, if dirty clean it. if the fan is not blowing enough air threw the coil the unit will build up high side pressure and cut out, but will turn back on when pressure drops. if that dont help, maybe the fan motor is bad or needs taken apart and oiled.

Ac turning on and off

How did they check the freon in the home? You can feel the front(evaporator coil)coil on all four sides. Are you sure the motor is running fast enough? If the four corners do not feel cold in about 5 minutes or so, there is a compressor problem, Capillary tube blockage, moisture in the system or you are low of freon. Good Luck
