Problem with TV functionality on Sony VAIO VGC-LS30E

I did a fresh install of Vista after I got my Sony VAIO VGC-LS30E to get rid of all the crapware. I installed the basic NVIDIA drivers from the Sony support site, and when I started Windows Media Center to use the TV feature, it told me it could not detect any TV tuner hardware:

''TUNER NOT FOUND
The TV signal cannot be configured because no tuner hardware was detected.''

I tried installing all of the additional software provided for my model of VAIO through Sony's support site, but to no avail.

Sometimes there are 2 video cards in your computer. One built into the motherboard and one seperate. Make sure you are plugged into the right one.

A bit of research revealed that the system came with a 250GB SATA drive, and the BIOS should have recognized either drive. Check the cable from the Hard Drive to the Mother Board if possible, including the Power connectors.

You can install a video card that has a dual monitor VGA port.
