Thats the CP150 cp114 and CP120 issue causing that. You can get the repair kit with the same name at www.tvrepairworld.com the kit contains the capacitors and the CD with detailed instructions.
Sounds like the flyback very famous for that model. You need Flyback 270125 you can get the new RCA flyback at the following link and they provide step by step detailed indtructions on how to do the repair. if you heard a hissing or like static sound your board probably has a hole in it now. the board on the left side with the flyback fransformer. the hole is from where a prong has come loose an is arking over an it burns the board the ark is the sound you heard.
CK for Bad capacitors cp114,120,150 if any of them is puffed up on top it is bad so replace all 3 cp150 is 2200uf 16v other two are 220uf 35v also resolder all pinns on FBT flyback transfomer.
