I can not hear it ring when I call - Samsung SGH-A137 Cell Phone

On the MAU as you may know, ring out has to be hooked to ring in for it to work. Most shoes don't have MAU's in them.

You need to call your phone service provider, something wasn't setup correctly.

Please go to menu -> profile -> Select general here. if that too doesnot resoles escalate the service opearot as the ring tone is operator specific.

Hi, what makes the ringing of the phone to be quite to hear is because the ringer that makes you hear when the phone rings is getting weak and it needs to be replaced.

When you replace the ringer the phone will ring better again.

chck ur ringing tone volume

Make sure it can hear the phone ringing.( It relies on a microphone picking up the signal to make it ring. The unit comes with an optional ext microphone that you can plug in and stick it closer to the phone's ringer if it can hear it ringing. Try aklso turing up the RINGING volume of the phone!

Look for a setting that changes the ring from vibrate to ring. It's a setting different from that of ring volume.

i have a GE 6.0 cordless telephone, i know tha it's ringing the number comes up on my television but I can't hear it ring?

Hi Lauri, when the incoming caller rings your number the ringing sound you hear is from the intercom ( Call 1 ) button on the phones programmed to ring. If you only want a few phones to ring, like the Station Group programmed in MMC 601 it will require accessing several different MMC's and you can really mess up your ringing assignments and not get any calls at all. I know you do not want to hear this but do you have a Vendor that takes care of your system? This is a problem/request that an experienced Sansumg Tech should tackle. While the call is ringing in, try pressing the up volume button. Maybe he turned the volume off.
