HP plotter T790 is stocking at 1% and gives the error message to restart the printer, and if the problem persist contact HP support

Open the printer using the button on the side top right. You will see two gray things with arrows going left and right. move them both two where you can take out the piece it is hold in. Pull out the large piece and put it back in. Close the two gray things to lock it back into place. Close the printer and restart it. It should fix your issue. It must of became loose at one point when I was moving so I fiddled with it and turns out that was the issue. It works great now!!

try this. worked for me. when installing the cartridge, put one finger under the cartridge and hold upward pressure as you closed the green plastic cover. problem is the pins on the cartridge and the pins on the printer are not aligning properly by relying on the spring to do it. this will help to align the pins and should make it work.

SOURCE: error message 0x610000f6 won't re-set.

>try to do hardware reset
>while printer is on unplug power cord at the back of it, press and hold # and 6 buttons on your printer, while holding the buttons plug back power cord, printer should initialise you can release the buttons after 10 secs or until you see semi full reset on the display, if the printer will not automatically turn back on press the power button, if it ask for you to set the region and laguage again then you have done the reset successfully
>this hardware reset should clear the error otherwise better contact hp

System Error: 47:YZ
Star wheels motor error..
Corrective Action: Try the following:
�� Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the
Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.
�� Check that the Starwheel Assembly cable is not damaged and is correctly
connected to Main PCA.
�� Open the Window and check for any visible obstacles restricting the
movement of the Starwheel Assembly, then clear the obstruction.
�� Perform the Scan Axis Starwheel diagnostic test to troubleshoot the
problem further → Page 4-7.
�� Replace the Starwheel Motor → Page 8-167.
�� If the System Error continues, replace the Main PCA
Okay, this is direct from the repair manual. if this is a new printer you have one year warranty service on this printer. hope this helps!

My HP Designjet T790 report "Error 21.2.:13, restart, if problem persists call support" i restarted but still can't print. Can you help me? Thanks

This is a service station error. One of the more common causes I have come across is a piece of paper or foreign object jammed in the service station. It is located on the right hand side of the carriage. Unplug the plotter. Plug it in and the minute that you hear the print head move, unplug the power. Then open the window, move the head out of the way and look for a foreign object stuck in the service station.

My plotter will just click and wont return

If carriage sits at right side., might be service station jammed, its not releasing the carriage assm..its critical issue., dont force to pull out the carriage, it may damage print heads.. pl contact professionals..

Hello, I have a T790 with 60.2:17 error since the

Process 1..
1. Switch the power off from the back of the product, wait two minutes, then switch it back on again.
2. Check the power cord; try connecting it to another power socket.
3. Check that the product is properly connected in all other respects.
4. Switch the power off from the back of the product; remove the Formatter; reinsert the Formatter; switch the power on again.
Process 2..
1. Turn off the product with the Power Key on the left of the Touch Control Panel.
2. Press and release the Power Key to turn on the product.
3. Wait for about 10 seconds until the 6 buttons on the Touch Control Panel come on and then press
and release one after another the RIGHT -> HOME buttons.
4. Wait for the unit to complete the booting process. The logs are now enabled in the product even if
the product hangs and shows a system error.
Once U got the error, check the error related spare, replace it, any help post your query..

Yellow & Magenta not printing

Both print heads are clogged, try to clean it manually if not succeeded replace both of them.. U can find how to clean print heads in you tube..

Code Error 79:04, 86:01 y 81:01

79:04: Check the usage and expiry dates on the printheads to start with. Have you refilled them with third-party ink? Even if you have before and haven't gotten this message, your printer might have just picked up on it. Particularily, if you have recently done a firmware upgrade.

Try taking out your printheads and see if it boots up. If it does, then there is a good chance that it's a printhead related issue. Once again, check the expiry dates.

If the error persists, try to re-seat your formatter if you have one.
Try restarting the printer with no printheads or cartridges or media and insert them one by one.

If the error comes up with one specific printhead or cartridge, you may want to replace it, expired or not. And replace it with an HP product designed for your specific printer.

Damage done by third-party products will not be covered by original warranty, or extended.

Final suggestion, is look at the conteacts on the back of the printheads. Are they dirty with ink or grime? What about the contacts in the printer. If they are, I would suggest using a SLIGHTLY damp coffee filter and gently wiping up and down until they are clean. DO NOT wipe horizontally or in circles. It may cause scratches to the contacts which could further damage them. Wipe them vertically with a DRY coffee filter, or allow them to completely air dry before re-inserting them. Before you re-insert them, reboot the printer with nothing in it, and insert them one by one.
