On manual mode after recording, on play back mode, all you see is a blue screen, and nothing shows up, there is only audio.

After recording on manual mode, on playback mode, when playing back the footage all you see is a blue screen, and no footage, but you can hear audio, this has only just happened recently, and i have done a head clean 5 times, still does the same thing, oh and when i test record again on manual mode, i go back, and it plays the clip for 30secs, then freezes, then goes blue screen, what should i do?

SOURCE: Do I need any special cables to view or record the footage?

No. The GRHD1U includes a component cable. Another breakout cable provides composite, S-video and audio left and right. For dubbing the footage to a DVHS VCR or computer, a standard 4 to 4 or 4 to 6 (camera has a 4 pin connector built in) pins firewire cable (not supplied) is required.

SOURCE: horizontal snow lines on record and playback

the symptom is caused by a dirty video head. sometimes cleaning tape cannot do all the jobs, especially when the dirt is so much that any cleaning tape cannot remove it. open the cover, use a clean white paper dampened with a little alcohol. use your finger on the paper and gradually move the head drum back and forth. donot move the paper up or down. just move the drum slowly. good luck!

When i chage the option of oFF to CAMERA nothing turns on and when I change the option OFF to VCR the screen just show strange symbol and SP and it does not work

just so you know, your camera model was included in the list for what we call the "ccd program". this program has ran for 5 years and unfortunately ended march this year. sony gave free repairs for cameras and camcorders affected by the defective ccd imaging sensor before the said date. issue with the camera shows a black or distorted screen in camera mode. but the you should still be able to see the indicators on the screen. when switch to vcr you should be able to play back previous recordings that you made. better to really make sure its a ccd issue, play a tape that you're sure contains a movie recording and play it, then set it to camera mode and see if you get just a black screen. if you try recording using a tape, you may see nothing but should hear the audio part. if this is what's happening we can be sure it's a ccd issue. if your camcorder just won't turn on in camera mode, maybe the power switch turned defective or it can be other parts of the unit that stopped working.if this is the case, then of course, your unit may require service to address the problem.hope this info helps.thanks:)

Panasonic HVX200 will not play back tape

Your playback heads might be clogged. I am not sure if this camera with give you a RF warning if your record heads get clogged. Also most professional machines drums are rated at 1000 - 1500 hours before they need to be replaced. If you are at 500 and never cleaned the heads it is time to. Run a cleaning tape a few times.

Sony F55 Recorded Display

The filename (e.g. DSC0012.jpg) shows the image number, the filespec shows the date and time recorded. Most software will give you document info about resolution of the image. I wouldn't worry about what the battery status was when the shot was taken or how many other images were on the Mstick. I guess I'm not sure what you need.
