I have a Nikon Coolpix L11 and it looks like the liquid has leaked inside the lens. Is this repairable or should I just trash the camera. My husband bought it for a birthday present at Target and paid over 100.00 for this.
Please let me know if it is worth getting this fixed

I have the same problem with my nikon coolpix s200. After 2 months the lens of my camera won't go inside. On the lcd screen stood lens error. I went to a shop with this problem. He took the battery out of my camera and press the off and on button for a while. Then he put the battery back in the camera and press the on button. The lens of the camera was now going inside en outside and inside and outside with a strange noise. And also on the screen stood lens error. Okey, the lens is inside the camera. But how can I fix this camera? What is the problem? What have you done? Please let know..!!
