Tub gets off balance and makes noise while washing.

I make sure that the load is balanced, the machine is level. When the wash starts going the barrel gets off set to the right (always) and it makes a grinding type of noise. When I open the lid and center the barrel it stops making the noise. It has to be re-centered after spin cycle. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

IT IS A MAYTAG TOP LOAD WASHER - HAVBB-1

We tried putting more towels but they just roll up in a ball and the spin cycle turns on and off and will not work. We put a little load in and they still roll up in a ball and cycles on and off.We put in a real small load and it works some of the time. But our reason for getting the big Model WBVH5200J2WW washer was so we could wash big loads and this is not happening. We think that the washer should spin faster at the start of the spin cycle so that the load can't roll up in a ball like the washers at the laundry.

Washer gets out of balance on every load

Make sure that the clothes in the washing machine are of similar fabrics ( cotton: polyester: wool, etc) do not mix cotton with polyester because cotton will absorb more water that Polyester during the wash cycle, and put the machine out of balance during the spin cycle.
If this does not work, it could be that one of the tub suspension damper units is worn, and not doing its job of stabilizing the load.
If the machine is making a lot of unusual banging noises, during spin, it could be that one of the counter balance weights that are attached to the tub, have become loose or detached, which will also give the same effect as an out of balance load.
I hope this helps?

Sick of taking washing out and reload even so it doesn't go off balanced keep dreaming washing takes 3 hours for one load just hang up wet when it gets to 32 min to go

Hey this could be a lot of things but the first thing you got to make sure it's the washing machine is fully level you have to make sure it's level and balance and not wobbling there's a lot of other things that could be the problem start by making washing machine level go to the bottom where the casters are make sure the unit is level

Drum fallen to one side

I don't know which model you have, but there are plastic suspension pads that hold the tub level, if one of those wears out the tub will tilt. This can happen when you get a heavy load out of balance.

My washing machine makes a loud thumping noise when it goes on a high spin cycle, especially when the load is large. The problem started to become worse once I reconected a shock that was not connected...

Hello,
The biggest problem with front loaders is leveling. Be sure it is sitting level. Use a lever and not your eye to level the machine. Be sure to use the lock nuts on the leveling legs. Also, these machines are very heavy and need to be on a really solid hard surface. Hope this does it for you.

Everytime i put a load of clothes in its fine until it hits the 12 min mark and it starts to wabble everywhere and then the ul code comes on

Try making sure the machine is level front to back and side to side. It sounds like the barrel ( tub ) inside the machine is out of balance.

Hope this was helpful.

Washing machine off balance in one cycle

Make sure washer is on a level surface and all four feet adjusted properly. A slight forward lean may help with this problem as the out of balance switch is at the rear.
