LG Dare - can not delete empty group contact. Does anyone know how? When the contact group is empty, there is no option tab that will allow me to choose to delete it, there is only an "add" tab.

To delete a single image, summon the image on the screen and touch the Trash icon that appears in the upper-right corner. Choose the Confirm Delete command. The image is gone.
Deleting a video isn't as easy as removing an image: You have to long-press the video thumbnail in an album. The long-press activates multiple-selection mode. You can't undelete an image or a video you've deleted. There's no way to recover such an image using available tools on the Galaxy Tab.
You can apply the Delete command to an entire swath of items in the gallery at once. To do so, you must know the secret, found below:

1. Open the album (pile) you want to mess with.
2. Long-press an image to select it. Instantly, you activate image-selection mode.
   

1. Continue touching images and videos to select them.Or you can choose the Select All command.
2. Perform an action on the group of images or videos.

To deselect items, touch them again. To deselect everything, touch the Done command.
The type of commands you can use on a group of items in an album depends on the group. Some commands, such as Delete and Share, can be performed on any old group. Other commands, such as the image rotation commands, work only with pictures, not with videos.

go to settings in your contacts and see if it is displaying both sim and phone contacts. if so unselect one and it may fix your problem.

Not very sure if it's able to remove all contacts at once.

Thats one of the features of LG. If you find it annoting or disturbing, you can delete it with the following steps:
1. In NEW MESSAGE, press the RECIPIENT. You will go to the number screen. 2. Tap the bar with "To(1)" 3. Tap the OPTION ICON. (Can be found on the upper left of the scree. it looks like a square with horizontal lines) 4. A sub menu will appear after tapping the option icon. Choose RECENTLY USED. 5. You will be the proceed to a screen with recently used number. Tap again the OPTION ICON 6. Then choose DELETE ALL.

take the phone to an LG care shop for repairs

its operating system is messed up, call someone, anyone and while on the call remove the battery. it will reset the device. it wont erase anything its safe to do ok! leave it off with battery out for 2 minutes after pulling out the battery.

In your contact lis, touch the icon to the left of the contact name which will place a check mark there.
At the bottom right of your screen next to "GO TO" touch the option menu icon (looks like a piece of lined paper).
"Erase" is the first option.

You can delete multiple contacts at once by selecting more than one contact before you open the options menu.
A similar procedure is use to delete contact groups.

trhis may not be a solution but maybe your boyfriend is just trippin. lol. :) but there's this thing that when you pay bills onat&t you ge t to locate what messages or calls i think(?) that you have received and sent but you dont actually see the message

Contact List
There are two ways to enter Contact List.
1. Tap the [ ] in the idle screen then tap Address Book - Contact List.
2. Tap the [ ] key in the idle screen.
This menu allows you to save and manage contact address information. The
Contacts’ functions allow you to add a new address or search saved contact
addresses by name.
New Contact
This menu allows you to add a new contact address. You can enter contact
address information including name, phone numbers, email addresses, group
information items, memos, ring tones, and image (photograph).
Favorites
This menu allows you to have your own favorite contact list. You can add and
delete it.
Caller Groups
This menu allows you to manage group information. By default, there are 4
groups: family, friends, colleagues and school. You can also configure a ring
tone for a group so that the group ring tone sounds when a call from a specific
contact address within that group arrives and there is no ring tone configured
for the specific contact address.
