That would depend mostly on the server. It is recommended to initate most shut downs via the installed OS. If that isn't possible then you can simply hold the power button to power down the servers.

If the server is closed there is no way the information can be accessed until the server is operational again, in a sense you are locked out. Do you know how long the server is down?

Try connecting to other servers. Garena has 5 servers. You can choose the server you can logon by pulling down the drop down list for Servers.

Your clock has nothing to do with connecting to internet servers.
Your game may have very well likely had its servers shut down by EA. Check which game's servers are shut down here: http://www.ea.com/2/service-updates

Hi hnic2, if the official servers are down that is not any problem with your router so no worries there. It means the company running those servers has 1. taken them down for maintenance or 2. had their servers crash and are in the process of fixing them.

Generally it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 hours to get servers back online, I would suggest just checking back with it every couple hours or so until they get them back up.

if it says that ea server is down, the ea network is down. you can't connect on the server for the meantime. just wait for a few hours or days there might be maintenance on their server.

Hi, I have this on my server and it gives me options on for the server to reboot if there is a system problem or unexpected shut-down, this may help and maybe worth a try it works fine with windows server 2003.
