PrintShop Mail, 7.2, print page front to back

I am working in PrintShop Mail 7.2. I have a variable name badge set up on the front and a static image for the back that is setup for a pre-perforated, 6up form that I need to print front to back. Right now when I look at the preview I am seeing the pages setup side-by-side (vertical 3up for the front with variable and vertical 3up for the back with the static QR code). I want them to print 6up front and 6up back....is this possible??? Thanks! Kim Haes

SOURCE: how to set page margins in inches during page setup

Go to the print preview option and double click on the scale at the top. It would allow you to set the margin in inches.

SOURCE: I use Windows 7 and the PrintShop Deluxe 22 will not work.

Microsoft's Windows 7 compatibility list shows this product as unknown at this time and recommends using the Vista compatible version. If you need to upgrade to the Vista compatible version there is a free update located at the link below.

I am currently using both Print Shop 5.0 Premier and Print Shop 10. I am switching to a new computer with Windows 7 and will need to install Print Shop 23 Deluxe. Will I be able to retrieve all the files...

I will advice you to locate the print-shop folders that are on your computer. or simple open one of the files you created with this software and right click file location. it will open where all the other files are stored on your computer. backup everything stored on your computer to a flash drive.

I purchased printshop 20 deluxe and installed on my computer which has windows 7 installed on it. The installation shows it was successful however when I try to run the printshop program it tries to start...

The Print Shop version 20 Deluxe for PC is not compatible with Windows 7. The newer Version 23 is compatible. This is due to software compatibility issues with Windows 7.

You can check for Win 7 Compatibility for "software or hardware" @ Windows 7 Compatibility Center

It will not run on Win 7, even when you are using the Compatibility Mode options. Too bad you have to get the newer version 23.

You need to set it to a standard size if your printer is set on plain paper with your county's standard size.

If you want 'special' paper you need to set it up on printer to work with the software.

Ms word does not print properly on tally 2250 printer

you need to create a forms for your specified paper size.
1.open printer and faxes in win xp.
2.file...server properties...create a new form(check)
3.type a name for forms
4.type a size in below boxes...(like 10 x 12 paper , width is 10 inch, height is 12 inch)
5.save it
6.close
7.rht click the printer...device setting tab... select a form name in the tray .
8.it will work

Bought new computer. Cannot download my printshop

You might be trying to loading a 32 bit software packege to a 64 bit operating system. See it the store has a 64 bit version. Or you could upgrade the OS with the microsoft pro packege.

Not sure what your exact message is but on their support site it listed this:

Invalid Page Fault in Module ADBOOK.EXE Description Solution While trying to print or preview in the Ultimate Mail Manager Address Book (included with The Print Shop® 15), the message "ADBOOK caused an invalid page fault in module ADBOOK.EXE" appears. This error is usually the result of an outdated or incompatible printer driver. Checking for proper settings or updating the printer driver or both can help to resolve the issue. The remainder of this technical note describes how to proceed. Follow the procedure below to help resolve the issue.
  1. Close all programs and return to the desktop.
  2. Click Start, choose Settings and select Printers.
  3. Right-click the icon that represents the printer being used and verify that Set as Default is checked.
  4. Choose Properties from the menu that appears. The printer Properties window will open.
  5. Click the Details tab.
  6. Click the Spool Settings button.
  7. Change the Spool Data Format to RAW.
  8. Click Apply and click OK.
  9. Close the Printers window.
  10. Open The Print Shop® 15 and Ultimate Mail Manager and try to print again.
NOTE: If the issue continues, contact the printer manufacturer and request an updated printer driver and directions regarding the installation of the updated printer driver. Typically, an updated driver can be obtained from the manufacturer's Web site.

If the error reappears after downloading and installing the new printer driver, continue with the following procedure.

Install an Emulation Driver
  1. Install a suitable emulation driver. For help identifying and installing a suitable emulation, contact the printer manufacturer.

NOTE: For some printer models, it may be necessary to switch back to the original printer driver when using a desired application in order to gain full functionality of the printer.

Printer issue...:(

Hi MaCaTa2,

It can be frustrating when things aren't going smoothly.
Sounds like you're wasting a lot of dye film and cards too!

What program are you printing the badges from?
You have a very 'paper' size with this type of printer.
If you select 'Magicard Printer Series' as the printer, you will then see a special paper size called 'CR80 Edge To Edge'. This is basically the size of a credit card. (2 1/8 x 3 3/8" (54 x 85.6mm). Check your font sizes are not too big. Any text printed on the back of the card is on page 2 of 2 (on the Tango model, a Rio would feed a second card).
Experiment with an application like MS Word, where you can clearly see the 'pages'.
Create a new word document, straight away go to 'File, Print', select 'Magicard Printer Series' from the printers list, then 'Close' (not 'Print'). Next, go to 'File', 'Page Setup', for the paper size choose 'CR80 Edge to Edge', set all the margins to '0' (this is a 'full bleed' printer.
You will now see a credit card size page to work on. If you fill this page (or insert a page break), you continue onto page 2 (the card back - only available on Tango).
