Panasonic CQ-VD6503U won't reset

I've pulled the power for hour, pressed the reset button on bottom corner, and held the right track button. Nothing will reset this DVD player. While in the menu before and clicked on remote rear now the remote won't work in the menu. Also touch screen doesn't work. Just trying to reset it see if anything will work.

Bose 321 II dvd drawer won't open, fixes here & elsewhere not working. I put in a recorded dvd. It tried to read it, & never gave me the not supported msg as I started trying to eject it...

Hi Donna,

Please do be frustated.

Your lovely Bose has problem with its mechanism that cause load / unload totally out of order. If you hear some noise while you turn on the bose or when you hit some buttons, it is telling us the motor still work. Now we need to check the broken gears ( or other mechanism linkage).
If you able assemble this Bose, go ahead to find and fix it mehanism ( you may need some parts replacement.

Note : Be carefully with its laser lens while power on ( avoid direct contact to your eyes).

Best luck,

Jay

My Garmin 1450 locks up and will not compute a route, or show maps. It is about 3 weeks old and this it the first trip for it.

I experienced the same issue with a Garmin Dezl 560 - which is based on the Nuvi. After experimentation with various very long routes the Garmin started with sudden restarts, lockups and other weird behavior. It became unusable - which seemed like a programming error to me.

After a Master Reset - clearing all user data (POIs / Routes / Tracks) the Garmin acted normal again.

A master reset is triggered by holding the right bottom corner of the screen for at least 20 seconds while pressing the power button once. A question appears after some time to clear all user data.

Recently I've upgraded to a latest software version through MyGarmin.com - haven't seen this sudden lock-up / restart issue since.

I just purchased this product and it will not turn on with being plugged in. Also, no reset button

When the battery is fully charged it should turn on without being plugged in. Charge it for 4 hours on the car charger or for 8 hours through a computer. There's no reset button on most garmin satnavs. To reset it you press the bottom right corner, when the satnav is turned off, and press and hold the on button until is asks you if you really want to reset it. It takes about 20 seconds to ask you.

Wont turn on pressed the reset when it froze and now it wont go back on

Press the Power ON/OFF slide button.
To power ON, push Slide UP & hold for 5 sec's
To power OFF, push Slide UP & hold for 5 sec's

If no go,
Use the Stylus and push into Reset hole, at bottom of device.
(not on back side, but at the bottom, where there is a single hole.
Press and hold for a second or two, or until it turns off/on.

Pushing Slide DOWN, put's it HOLD mode (make sure the slide
switch is Not in the Down position) is probably in Hold mode?

I've had this problem before and finally realized that I was putting it in
the hold mode every time, by pushing the Slide Power button, down.
Instead of UP.

It keeps peeping on every hour...don't have the manual. It is a watch from Target: Polyurethane Strap Digital Silver Oval Case Watch - Purple. Would like like to turn off the hourly alarm.

I know you posted this a while ago but I had the same issue and I just figured out how to solve it. You hold down on the 'Reset' button so it shows the alarm time and then while continuing to hold the 'Reset' button you press the 'Start' button right above it. Each time you press the 'Start' button, you turn the alarm and the chime every hour on and off. You know if its 'on' based on the little images on the top of the screen. The top left corner is the alarm and the bottom right is the chime.

The Open/close does not work. Power is on and it

First try resetting the player. Unplug for 1/2 hour-1hr., press and hold power button for 3 seconds, wait 1/2 hour, plug back in and it should work. Otherwise you can pry open the door with a paper clip. Slowly pull door as far back as it will go, then press eject button and see if everything aligns itself back on track.
