Question about Sanyo MM-8300

Recovery mode / serial data displayed ! keypad inop ????

I went to use my phone the otherday and the keypad would not work.... took batery out and put back in ... turned on sprint logo came up then gray screen , the screen displayed Recovery mode / serial data .. couldent use key pad or anything ... please any info would help ... Thanks Chad

    i dropped mi fone in water but now the key pad doesn't worked tve tried to dry it nd ive taken the battery out but it still doesnt work??

If you have a cable for connecting it to your computer, you might be able to get it working again. Otherwise, I'd suggest removing the battery and putting the phone and the battery (separate) in the fridge over-night. The next day, insert the battery and turn the phone on to see what happens. If it's still stuck in recovery mode, I'd advise seeking help at your local phone store or sending an email to sanyo asking for any codes they could supply.

Switches to "Quick Start" before I enter all information

To engage the Keypad Test

Press until Keypad Test is displayed in the information window.

If any of the keys do not respond, they may not be functioning and the display keypad must be
