WIRELESS SECURITY ISSUES
Step 1 : Connect Router - Computer ( Wired)
Step 2 : Open Router Setup by typing http://192.168.2.1 on the address bar of internet explorer
Step 3 : On the left under wireless click wi - fi protected setup
Step 4 : Leave the password blank and click on submit
Step 5 : Disable it and Click on apply changes
Step 6 : On the left under wireless click Security
Step 7 : Enable 64 Bit WEP
Step 8 : Type a 10 digit number on the key 1 ( 2 in each box )
Step 9 : Click apply changes
Step 10 : on the left under wireless click channel and SSID
Step 11 :Change the Wireless channel to 6
Step 12 : Change the SSID to a different name ( no Spaces )
Step 13 : Click apply changes
Now lets configure
PS3 And XBOX :: BELKIN
Step 1:Connect Modem - Router - Computer (Wired)
Step 2:Open Router Setup by typing http://192.168.2.1 on the address bar of internet explorer
Step 3:On the Left click firewall
Step 4:Leave the Password blank and click submit
Step 5:Disable it and click apply changes
Step 6:Scan and connect in the Xbox/PS3/Wii
Step 7: Get the IP Address of the Xbox/PS3/Wii
Step 8:Open Router Setup in the Computer
Step 9:On the left under Firewall Click DMZ
Step 10:Enable the IP Address of the Xbox/PS3/Wii in it
Step 11:Click Apply Changes
Step 13:On the left Under Utilities click System settings
Step 14:Scroll down to the bottom
Step 15:Enable UPnP
Step 16:Click apply changes
Step 17:Scan and connect to this network and test the connection

you will probably have other wireless software controlling the connection , try using that to connect instead of the windows version. Or you have a wireless manager installed that is trying to control the connection, remove it and you will be able to connect with windows

I hate to say this but Belkin is not a very "friendly" router. I suggest you take it back for a refund, as I did, and get a D-link or Linksys.
They took mine back with no problem because there have been a lot of returns on them.

If you are wirelessly connecting you need to use a wireless card that supports dual band.
and then changnig the settings on the wireless card helps.
if you are wired the issue is with the router settings.
Upgrade the firmware on the router
