SOURCE: need trippers for older unknown model number amf

Paragon no longer makes timers or parts, except defrost timers.
Typically, defrost timers are not used for pools.
Open following link to possibly identify timer and tripper part number.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html

If you want a new timer for pools, Intermatic makes the T101 120Volt and T104 240Volt:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html

If you want T100 series timer with fireman's switch that turns off heater 10 minutes before turning off pump:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Intermatic-timers-and-manuals.html#pool

If you have energy-saving 2-speed pool pump, and thermostat and pool light, then buy P1353 digital timer with enclosure. Enclosure and timer sold together as P1353ME.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Intermatic-trippers-and-parts.html#P1353
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/PE100-series-with-P1353-timer.pdf
P1353 is not easy to wire or program for novice, so you can add a comment or repost question on fixya and I will catch it.

Looking for set of trippers for paragon 4014-20 pool timer

Copy following link to identify timer:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#4000

Paragon 4000 series uses X2772 tripper
Paragon is no longer making timers except for defrost times.
There is a new line of timers coming from China that looks identical to Paragon 4000, and uses same tripper. As a result this timer design and trippers could be around for years to come.

Replacement timer is Intermatic T104R 240Volt indoor outdoor enclosure, with replacement parts widely available

I need trippers for timer paragon 4001-00m

1) Paragon is no longer making X2772 trippers for the 4000 series timer.
Some places may still sell the X2772 tripper.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#4000

2) I saw X2772 trippers for $60 spring 2011. And the ad did not say the trippers were new.

3) Buy replacement T101 Intermatic timer for less than that.
Example at Amazon showing T101 indoor timer: For outdoor timer, buy T101R.
http://www.amazon.com/Intermatic-T101-Hour-Dial-Timer/dp/B00002N5FN

4) Crossover wiring from Paragon 4001-00 to Intermatic T101:
Paragon terminal 1 goes to Intermatic 1
Paragon terminal 2 goes to Intermatic 2
Paragon terminal 3 goes to Intermatic A

I have a Paragon 42013-20 timer, no longer manufactured. I need to find replacement trippers. Thanks for any assistance.

I cannot find a brochure showing specific paragon tripper numbers.

You have Paragon 42013-20 timer, DPST 10Amp 2Hp, Nema3 indoor-outdoor, 24 hour-timer with 48 trippers built into timer dial.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#42000
If trippers are worn out, you can possibly work-around by rotating dial 12 hours so fresh trippers can be accessed using same dial. The only difference is nighttime hours shown on clock face will now represent daytime hours.

Intermatic Cross reference shows replacement timer is T1976R
http://www.intermatic.com/customer%20service/competitive%20cross%20reference.aspx
http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/files/intermatic/catalog/pages/014.ashx
http://www.intermatic.com/products/timers/mechanical%20time%20switches/24%20hour%20dial%20with%20skipper.aspx
http://www.drillspot.com/products/648036/intermatic_t1976r_24_hour_electromechanical_timer

Difference between your paragon timer and suggested intermatic, it that Paragon throws both terminals at same time, while Intermatic has alternating NO NC terminals.

I need to purchase 6 (six) more sets, 1 on and 1 off, trippers for the churches' 7 day timer. Do you need to know voltage of motor? The voltage it is switching is 240 volt.

1) You posted under paragon 7008-00 timer.
It is not necessary to know voltage of motor to order tripper

2) Model number of timer is usually located on inside door panel

3) Paragon is no longer making timers or parts.
Open following link to identify timer for sure:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#7000
http://waterheatertimer.org/Boxtype.html

4) Following link from Paragon gives links for folks who might still sell parts:
Expect some suppliers to overcharge for parts.
I've seen paragon trippers selling for $60.
http://portalgb.knowledgebase.net/display/1/index.aspx?c=15121&cpc=XobrEdQ5Lsnv624T2PBS4Exx6S5VyiL7gw3am4YYt6&cid=13013&cat=&catURL=&r=0.485034763813019

5) It might be easier to buy another time clock.
Refer to Intermatic Competitive cross reference chart.
http://www.intermatic.com/customer%20service/competitive%20cross%20reference.aspx
For example replacement for 7008-20 is Intermatic T7802B which is a 7-day, 40 amp 240V timer.
http://www.intermatic.com/products/timers/mechanical%20time%20switches/7%20day%2040%20amp.aspx

6) You are working for your church, probably as a volunteer.
I also volunteer several places in my community.
I have extensive files on timers and can help you choose and install a new timer if I know the model number.
Just add a comment to this post and I will answer if needed.

I need a set of trippers for a Paragon 4001 switch timer. Need both "On " and "off" trippers. Can you find some?

Paragon 4000 series timers uses X2772 tripper
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html

Google search x2772 tripper
Frontier Lighting shows they are out.
A couple other places show 56-60 dollars for the tripper

In November 2010, I got e-mail from Paragon saying that Paragon stopped making timers and parts for timers, except for defrost timers. 4001 is not defrost timer.

Intermatic has cross-reference link if you want to buy new timer:
http://www.intermatic.com/customer%20service/competitive%20cross%20reference.aspx
Cross reference shows T-101 timer matches your timer.

Aplus supply sells T101 for $60
http://www.aplussupply.com/intermatic/timer.htm
Amazon sells T101 for 43$ with free shipping over 25$
http://www.amazon.com/Intermatic-T101-Hour-Dial-Timer/dp/B00002N5FN

Have a paragon amf 4004-71 timer it runs constantly

Paragon 4004-71 is 240Volt timer
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#Paragon4000

1) If your trippers are worn down, the timer will not turn on and off
Google search for X2772 trippers.
2) If your timer dial is not rotating, then timer clock motor is bad.

3) According to e-mail I received from Paragon Nov 2010, Paragon is no longer making timers and parts, except for their line of defrost timers.
4004-71 is not a defrost timer, so it is no longer being made according to Paragon representative.

4) To change timer brands: Intermatic cross reference shows Paragon 4004-71 can be replaced with Intermatic T-104 timer.
Intermatic cross reference link:
http://www.intermatic.com/customer%20service/competitive%20cross%20reference.aspx
Lowes and Grainger and many other outlet sell T-104 240V timer.

5) How to wire T-104

We have an AMF Paragon 4001 timer for the light outside our building. The light goes on lately at the wrong time. We want it to be on at 7:00pm and off and 5:00am but it goes on at 12:00 at noon.

To set paragon timer: Pull large round dial straight out towards you, then rotate dial until correct time is lined up with stationary 'pointer' on front of dial

I'm trying to set the times on a paragon amf 7 day timer

There should be 2 trippers for each day, the trippers slide on the outside of the dial and would point to the time of day you want your lights on and off. The silver trippers may be gone on that aged time clock, but are easily obtainable.
