I believe we have a Bassett Parson Ridge Crib. Both sides of the crib are falling down at the slightest, and I mean slightest amount of pressure. Our son has just started to stand and pull himself up and if he tries to do so in the crib, the side is going to fall and I'm afraid he's going face forward onto the floor or worse, into his armoire. Anyone aware of a similar problem or a way to fix this?? He is 9 1/2 months and our last child. I didn't want to have to buy a new crib for the short amount of time he has left but will have to due to the seriousness of this problem. Help?
You likely are missing the lower track assemblies. Part # CC (right) and DD (left). These screw into the lower inside legs on the side with the drop down rail to secure the rail from dropping off. See instructions, Step 1 and Step 2.
Call Bassett 1-276-629-6000 to obtain instructions and a parts list for model # 5926-0504 (look on the inside headboard - not the gold label).
