Question about Sanyo MM-8300

Need help unlocking my phone from Qwest so I can use with Alltel...

I have a Sanyo SCP-8300 from Qwest wireless. I no longer have Qwest service, but would still like to use my phone with my new service at Alltel. Does anyone know how to unlock this phone and reprogram it? If anyone could let me know, it would be very greatly appreciated. I have searched all over and have only found a few solutions, but no explanations and I am NOT very technical-literate. Any help at all would be awesome! Some local wireless stores can do this for a small fee. Try finding a wireless supply store and see if they offer this. Most phone companies won't do it because they want you to stay on their network, and/or they want you to buy their phones.

Unlocking a sanyo SCP-8600
There can be many ways to Unlock your phone. As far as i know unlocking by codes is the simple and safe way. I will suggest the website Unlock-Zone.com which is doing good service and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums. I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and within 30 mins i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked. Hope this helps.
