Hi,
I have an DMC-FZ7K. I had the exact same problem, here's how I solved it:
Turn on the camera. Set the mode dial to "P".
Now press the button labeled "MENU SET".
In the menu that comes up, scroll up and down until you find a menu item named "PICT.ADJ." When it is selected, press the right arrow button.
In the sub-menu for "PICT.ADJ", select the "SATURATION" item and change it to "standard" or "low". Press "MENU SET" to save the changes.
You should now see a difference in the next pictures you take.

Press [MENU/SET] to display the [REC] mode menu & select the item to select. 7M will give you the highest resolution. Hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Panasonic lumix DMC-ZS1 - won't record video
It might be telling you that the card you have in the camera isn't fast enough to keep up with the demands of a video recording. You need to buy a more expensive card with a faster speed rating.

You probably changed dioptre adjustment in your camera. There should be a adjustment ring next to the eyepiece.
Testimonial: "Fantastic. Thanks."
